 WBF -\nwww.worldbridge.org) and United States\nBridge Federation (USBF
  - www.usbf.org) are\npleased to announce that the world bridge\nchamp
 ionship will return to the United States for\nthe first time in 16 yea
 rs.\nThousands of the world’s best bridge players will compete for\n
 eleven world titles. In addition, to attract players of varied\nskill 
 levels, Regional Championships will be staged throughout\nthe tourname
 nt, awarding both WBF and ACBL master points.\nFurthermore, an excitin
 g Junior program for players under 21\nand under 26 years old will fur
 ther encourage widespread\nparticipation in the world’s greatest car
 d game.\nA variety of Championships will be open to all bridge\nenthus
 iasts, with Transnational entries permitted\nin all events - except ju
 nior - (see schedule and entry\nfees). Pre-registration is highly enco
 uraged\n(www.worldbridge.org/registration), with significant\ndiscount
 s provided for players staying at a designated\nhost hotels (see Host 
 Hotels). For\nChampionship events, game times will be 10:30 am\nand 3:
 30 pm, allowing for a leisurely dinner and other\nentertainment at nig
 ht. Various regional events will be\noffered at the same game times. E
